Sckipio, Iphotonix enter G.Fast NFV partnership

Sckipio Technologies, a developer of G.fast modem chipsets, and iPhotonix announced a partnership to ensure the deployment and management of G.fast DPU devices by telcos globally. The partnership will enable the iPhotonix Virtual Network (iVN) to fully interoperate with Sckipio's G.fast platform. Sckipio's G.fast technology consists of modems for both the DPU and the CPE. Through superior design, the fully ITU-compliant Sckipio G.fast platform delivers up to 2x the expected rate and reach of the G.fast standard. iVN is an integrated NFV platform for the rapid delivery of iPhotonix vApps
