Security risks hit Kenyan telecoms service quality monitoring in 2015/16

Monday 15 January 2018 | 09:11 CET | News
The Communications Authority (CA) has failed to carry out tests on the quality of phone services in parts of the country because of security concerns, Business Daily reported. The regulator carries out an annual survey of telecoms service quality but in its report for the 2015/16 fiscal year, the agency says it did not carry out the tests in four counties, and parts of four others were not covered. The agency collects data by sending out its employees with monitoring equipment across the country.
