Senet teams up with Sagemcom to demonstrate LoRaWAN geolocation at CES

Friday 12 January 2018 | 16:53 CET | News

LoRa network operator Senet has joined forced with equipment maker Sagemcom to showcase the capabilities of LoRaWAN geolocation during CES 2018. The two partners have organised a demonstration running over Senet’s LoRaWAN network, which shows geolocation and environmental data collected using Sagemcom’s Siconia sensors, placed on mobile and stationary objects in different locations across Las Vegas.

Senet said that LoRaWAN geolocation has the potential to open up new use cases and generate additional revenue streams, as it offered a power-efficient and cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications not requiring the precision of GPS.
