Seoul govt to offer free Wi-Fi in all public places by 2017

The Seoul metropolitan government will offer free WiFi networks at every public place by 2017. The free WiFi service would also be available in moving subways and buses, Yonhap news agency reports, citing Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon. According to the Mayor, the metropolitan government plans to invest KRW 460.5 billion over the next five years to develop the 'diginomics' industry, a term combining the words digital and economics.
