Sequans posts lower than expected Q3 revenues, expects sequential improvement in Q4

Wednesday 6 November 2019 | 16:25 CET | News
Sequans Communications reported revenues of USD 7.5 million for the three months to September, down 27 percent year-on-year (-36% in Q2). At the end of July, the company had guided for sequential revenue growth, but reported a quarter-on-quarter drop of 7.8 percent. CEO Georges Karam said that performance was impacted by a short-term channel inventory issue in the IoT business for a Cat 1 product. This problem should be resolved during the fourth quarter, when the company expects to report higher revenues than in the third quarter.
