Sequans showcases integration with E-peas' AEM kit to eliminate need for batteries in IoT devices

IoT chipmaker Sequans Communications has teamed up with Belgian start-up E-peas in a demonstration of a self-powered IoT application, which no longer requires energy from batteries to operate. This joint collaboration combines Sequans' Monarch LTE-M/NB-IoT platform with E-peas' AEM (Ambient Energy Manager) integrated circuit, capable of harvesting and storing clean energy such as solar and thermal power.
