Service Stream extends trading halt over Syntheo issues

Australian technology infrastructure group Service Stream has extended its trading halt on the ASX as it is reviewing the future of its NBN joint venture. The company extended the voluntary suspension on the stock market until 15 August while it is still in discussions with NBN Co on project completion assumptions and with banks on re-financing. Service Stream said in a stock exchange filing it has mostly concluded the review of Syntheo and flagged a material loss for FY 2013 in relation to the joint venture. The Australian reports that the company has been using the trading halt to cut costs
