SES extends Azure cooperation with Microsoft with new cloud service, connection via satellite system

Monday 9 September 2019 | 11:16 CET | News
SES has expanded its cooperation with Microsoft and is now developing a broadcast-grade managed cloud service offering on Microsoft Azure. SES said the product will harness Azure's cloud and AI capabilities and innovate media service delivery via the cloud, providing end-to-end, service-level agreement (SLA)-based media delivery services on Azure. Media companies will in this way be able to scale and address the consumer's growing demand for a premium viewing experience on every screen. SES said it will be demonstrating use cases for its new service with Azure at IBC.
