SES restores capacity after losing contact with satellite

SES announced that it has proceeded to completely restore capacity for all customers using its AMC-9 satellite after all communications were lost on 17 June. In a statement, the satellite operator said it drew on its fleet of over 50 geostationary satellites to rapidly re-house customers such as Gogo by late evening on 18 June. The company added that it's now taking steps to relocate additional assets to 83 degrees West to support customers' requirements.
