SES satellite to broadcast four RAI HD channels

SES has announced that Italian public broadcaster RAI will be using its satellite capacity to deliver four TV channels – including Rai 1, Rai 2, Rai 3 and possibly Rai Sport – in HD across the whole Italian territory. The channels will broadcast free-to-view from Astra's orbital position 19.2 degrees east on dual-LNB reception mode, and operated on a Tivusat platform.
