Seven out of ten German ITC companies use cloud computing

Seven out of 10 (71%) of ITC companies currently use cloud services, according to the 'Cloud Monitor 2015' report produced by Bitkom on behalf of KPMG. The percentage was 64 in 2014. The average usage rate in the German industry is 44 percent. Use increased by more than 10 percentage points to 66 percent in the car manufacturing sector, and to 65 percent in the logistics industry.
