SFR, Bouygues join competition complaint vs Orange - report

French operators SFR and Bouygues Telecom have added their names to a complaint filed by consumer association UFC-Que Choisir with the Competition Authority in January which accused Orange France of "predatory strategy" in the quad-play segment, Les Echos reports, citing unnamed sources. UFC's argued that consumers were being locked into Orange's Open quad-play services because if they cancel their fixed broadband subscription they lose the advantages of the mobile component of the offer and have to sign another one- or two-year mobile contract.
