SFR launches Google Play STB

French mobile and broadband operator SFR has started offering customers a new STB using Android 4.2 and providing access to Google services on their TV sets (YouTube, Google Play Movies, Google Play Music and hundreds of apps on PlayStore). Costing EUR 3 a month with no contract tie-in period, the Google Play STB can also be used to watch France's 25 DTT channels when connected to a compatible antenna. It provides access to DTT operators' VoD services as well as the SFR video club, with its catalogue of over 3,000 titles, plus the radio stations on the SFR portal. The new STB is mainly aimed
