SFR loses court appeal against consumer association over unfair contract terms

SFR has lost an appeal against French consumer association UFC-Que Choisir in a case originally brought to court by the association over the operator's enforcement of unfair contract terms and conditions. UFC-Que Choisir, which was awarded damages and interests amounting to EUR 30,000, said in a statement that this latest ruling confirmed the previous court decision sanctioning SFR over around twenty clauses within its T&Cs.
