SFR, MCS TV sign basketball sponsorship, rights deal

Altice subsidiaries Numericable-SFR and Ma Chaine Sports (MCS TV) have signed a 5 year TV rights deal with French basketball league (LNB) and federation (FFBB) to show championship games and raise the market the sport at stores, websites and social networks. Numericable-SFR is brand sponsor. MCS, the league's official broadcaster, is carried only on CanalSat and the Numericable TV service. Free to air DTT channel L'Equipe 27 will also carry matches. The current broadcasting deal with Canal Plus ended after the EuroBasket 2015 tournament.
