SFR sponsors Electronic Sports World Cup

French operator Numericable-SFR is sponsoring with the Red by SFR brand the Electronic Sports World Cup to be held as part of the Paris Games Week between 28 October and 1 November. Teams from 50 countries will take part in the competition. Event organiser Oxent has called on the Red Fibre service to deliver a high capacity, high reliability network for the venue. Red Fibre was launched for consumers in April, delivering up to 100 Mbps internet access. The network to be used by the Electronic Sports World Cup will cover nearly 4,000 sq metres.
