SFR taps On Demand Group for new SVOD film service

French mobile and broadband operator SFR has chosen UK VoD content management service provider On Demand Group to launch its subscription VoD film service over the Neuf network, reports Light Reading. SFR already introduced transactional VoD (TVoD) in January. Working with major Hollywood studios, the SVoD service will allow SFR Neuf viewers to watch a selection of movies for a monthly subscription. Content is processed and delivered from On Demand Group's London content factory, with many new titles added to the library each month. The SVoD and TVoD services will reach more than 2 million
