SFR's Red launches 4G service with 5 GB plan

Thursday 16 January 2014 | 11:18 CET | News
French operator SFR has launched 4G services through its online-only brand, Red, with a EUR 25.99 subscription including 5 GB of mobile data plus unlimited YouTube video viewing. The package, which comes without a smartphone or contract tie-in period, also offers unlimited calls to fixed and mobile phones in metropolitan France and overseas territories (excluding Mayotte) and North America, plus fixed phones in 41 international destinations. Users benefit from unlimited SMS and MMS, as well as internet access at SFR Wi-Fi hotspots. Speeds are throttled after the 5 GB limit is reached.
