Sharp asks US ITC to probe Hisense patent infringements

Sharp has asked the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) to investigate possible infringements on its wireless LAN patents by Hisense. Sharp and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requested the investigation after finding that Hisense smart TVs sold in the US market infringe the patents and that Hisense is importing and selling the TVs using the patented Sharp technology in the US.
