Shaspa, Tatung show smart home platform at Ifa

Shaspa and Tatung have shown a new smart home platform at Ifa in Berlin. Powered by the IBM Informix software, the jointly developed platform will allow consumers to manage and interact with the home's functions such as energy, security and entertainment systems, using voice recognition, mobile applications and physical gestures. The first product based on this combination will be a low-cost, scalable Smart Home starter kit aimed at property developers and managers.
