Shazam appoints Parra as CMO

Media engagement company Shazam has appointed Patricia Parra as its chief marketing officer. In her new position, Parra will drive the brand vision, craft the marketing and communications strategies and lead the overall marketing function for the company. Parra joins Shazam from Ouya, where she served as the CMO for the gaming start-up. Before that, she was head of content marketing at Hulu where she led global brand strategy, original series campaigns and launched new products such as Hulu Latino and Hulu Japan.
