Shentel revenues jump 80% in Q4, boosted by nTelos

US operator Shenandoah Telecommunications (Shentel) has provided fourth quarter financial results, saying revenues jumped almost 80 percent to USD 155.6 million, due mainly to the company's acquisition of nTelos, but also on the back of its exchange transaction with Sprint. The integration of nTelos operations and the transition of its assets and customers is progressing. Shentel said that it currently ahead of its schedule for the migration of nTelos customers to the Sprint platform and on track with the progress of its network upgrade.
