Shentel revenues leap over 84% in Q3 boosted by nTelos

US operator Shenandoah Telecommunications said third quarter revenues jumped over 84 perecnt to USD 156.8 million, boosted by all segments but especially on the back of the nTelos acquisition. The company said it was ahead of its schedule on the migration of nTelos customers to the Sprint platform. Wireless service revenues leaped 132.6 percent, with the increase in average postpaid and prepaid subscribers up 75 percent and 46 percent respectively, and also helped by a reduction in postpaid fees retained by Sprint. Cable segment lifted 12.9 percent due to a 6.8 percent increase in average
