Shentel revenues, profits rise in Q3

Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) saw its third-quarter revenues rose 6.1 percent year-over-year to USD 82.3 million. Net income increased by 19.1 percent to USD 8.0 million, operating income was USD 14.1 million, up from USD 13.3 million, and adjusted OIBDA grew 15.9 percent to USD 33.3 million. Revenues in the wireless segment increased 4.5 percent to USD 48.0 million. Net additions to postpaid subscribers were 5,303, an increase of close to 300 percent from the prior year.
