SIA's Jiffy P2P money transfer service up to 350,000 users

European payment technology services provider SIA has announced that its SEPA-based "person-to-person" app for transferring money via smartphones has exceeded 350,000 registered users in Italy. The average value of a single transaction is currently EUR 52, up from the EUR 42 announced in January, while transfers under EUR 25 represent 44 percent of the total. The service, called Jiffy, allows Android, iOS and Windows Phone users to send and receive money in real time to and from their phone contacts.
