Siemens chooses Orange Business Services for SD-WAN migration

Wednesday 21 March 2018 | 10:37 CET | News
Siemens has extended its existing partnership with Orange Business Services, with a new EUR 240 million contract to migrate Siemens' global WAN to a more flexible SD-WAN (Software Defined Wide Area network). Under the six-year deal, OBS will provide managed network services across the 94 countries in which Siemens operates via a single-point-of-contact service desk. The improved SD-WAN infrastructure will connect 1,500 sites and will deliver cloud-based services to support the increasing demand from Siemens' virtual teams and teleworkers collaborating on global projects.
