Sierra Wireless passes expectations, with sales up 13% in Q1

Sierra Wireless first quarter revenues passed expectations, boosted by new customer wins, new product offerings and the acquisition of the assets of GlobalTop Technology's GNSS business. Revenue for the quarter lifted over 13 percent to USD 161.8 million while the gross margin improved to 34.4 percnet from 32.8 percent and the adjusted EBITDA advanced to USD 12.4 million form 6.7 million. Revenues lifted 10 percent at OEM Solutions, jumped almost 50 percent at Enterprise Solutions and went 2.1 percent higher at Cloud and Connectivity Services. The net result however went to a loss of USD 0.2
