Sigfox joins Mustang satellite/mobile SMS project

Thursday 19 February 2015 | 14:30 CET | News
French IoT M2M mobile service provider Sigfox has joined the French government supported Mustang project, launched by Airbus Defence and Space, in partnership with Grenoble electronics institute CEA-Leti and Sysmeca, to provide worldwide, low-data-rate machine-to-machine (M2M) communication using new earth-based and satellite technologies. The system will enable connected devices to communicate on a global scale, offering users a fully integrated and optimised low-cost, short-message service. This is a three-year project.
