Sigfox to use TDF masts

Wednesday 15 May 2013 | 11:35 CET | News
French M2M ultra narrow band network operator Sigfox has signed a contract with broadcast and cellular mast operator TDF for the deployment, hosting and maintenance of part of Sigfox's network in continental France. The companies plan to maximise Sigfox's radio coverage at each mast to reduce costs and ecological impact. Sigfox's network currently connects tens of thousands of objects in France and a few large cities in other countries to the internet and to its client's IT systems. The TDF contract value was not disclosed.
