Sigma Designs releases Z-Wave development kits

Sigma Designs announced the launch of two new development kits to help gateway, router and controller companies to create Z-Wave products and services, leveraging Z-Wave over IP (Z/IP) software. The new development kits provide tools for the development of Z-Wave controllers and end-devices. Sigma Designs will demonstrate the new development tools at CES in Las Vegas. Z-Wave technology is an ITU standard (G.9959) for wireless home control technology and is already deployed in over 35 million interoperable devices in homes around the world.
