Siminn cuts EU roaming prices on 01 July

Siminn said European Union roaming prices are falling from 01 July. It will now cost ISK 34.7 per minute to ring Iceland from EU countries, ISK 9 to receive calls, ISK 10.9 to send a text, and 1 megabyte of data will cost ISK 36.5 crowns. The price is valid for one year. This is in line with the price ceilings set by the European Union. Siminn said that in the summer of 2011, it could cost as much as ISK 72.52 to call home. Incoming calls have fallen by just under 60 percent
