Siminn mulls appeal after court orders it to pay ISK 111 mln damages in historic case

Icelandic operator Siminn said it is considering an appeal after Reykjavik District Court ruled against it in cases brought by Tolvun, Snerpa and Hringithjan and told it to pay them ISK 111 million in damages, along with costs. The three had initially sought around ISK 3 billion, but the policy sum in the cases amounted to almost ISK 1 billion. The case concerns events from 2005 to 2007.
