Icelandic telecommunications provider Siminn has selected an Ensim platform to manage Microsoft Exchange 2013, SharePoint and Lync for its customers. To date about 5,000 mailboxes have been migrated to the Ensim platform, with plans to add support for additional services.

The Ensim Automation Suite enables service providers like Siminn to deploy a turn-key provision for any application, service, or infrastructure system connected through standard web service APIs, whether multi-tenant or single tenant, on-premise or in the cloud.

Gudmundur Stefan Bjornsson, executive vice president of Siminn's IT department, said Ensim's platform is highly intuitive for its end-users, and is easy to scale and upgrade. Ensim engineers spent a week at Siminn going through an extensive architectural design session to best understand and accommodate its needs.

Ensim is a Microsoft strategic partner and has developed an extensive library of service and appplication connectors. Ensim also has the advanced capabilities to support and automate Hosted Microsoft Lync Enterprise VoIP features beyond what standard Lync control panels can accommodate.
