Si.mobil revenues down 8.6% in Q4

Slovenian mobile operator Si.mobil finished 2014 with 681,500 customers, up by 0.3 percent from a year earlier. In the fourth quarter, the company lost around 1,700 customers, as growth in the contract segment was offset by fewer prepaid users. Quarterly revenues fell 8.6 percent year-on-year to EUR 46.9 million, and adjusted EBITDA was also down 8.6 percent, to EUR 15.1 million. Parent company Telekom Austria said higher handset sales in Slovenia were offset by lower mobile prices and the termination rate cut in September. The higher share of contract customers helped ARPU increase 1.0
