Singaporean operators respond to Next Gen NBN consolidation

A number of Singaporean telecommunications companies have submitted a joint response calling for the regulator to reject the consolidation request by OpenNet, NetLink Trust, CityNet, and SingTel. The Asia Pacific Carriers' Coalition, M1, MyRepublic, Nucleus Connect, StarHub, SuperInternet Access, and ViewQwest says that the consolidation would see SingTel become the 100 percent beneficial owner of the Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN), the only other nationwide fixed telecommunications network in Singapore apart from SingTel's own network.
