Singtel, Chinese operators to establish data link between Singapore and Chongqing

Singapore operator Singtel has signed a partnership agreement with Chinese operators China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom, and seven Chongqing-based enterprises at the Singapore-China (Chongqing) Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum. Singtel and the Chinese operators plan to provide 7 industrial parks in Chongqing with connectivity to Singapore, as part of the China (Chongqing) - Singapore International Data Channel (IDC) launched on 11 September.
