SK Broadband to invest KRW 320 bln in content services

IPTV operator SK Broadband plans to invest KRW 320 billion (approximately USD 266.44 million) to create a content creation ecosystem after acquiring pay-TV operator CJ HelloVision. Under the 1-year investment plan, SK Broadband will allocate KRW 220 billion in helping content creators, The Korea Times reports, citing SK Broadband CEO Lee In-chan. The remaining amount will be used to support content industry startups.
