SK Hynix Q1 results down sharply on memory market slowdown

SK Hynix reported a sharp fall in first-quarter results due to the slowdown in the memory market. Revenues were down 22 percent year-on-year and 32 percent lower than in Q4 at KRW 6.733 trillion. The net profit fell 65 percent from a year ago to KRW 1.102 trillion. Operating profit was down 69 percent both on a quarterly and annual basis to KRW 1.366 trillion, giving the company a margin of 20 percent.
