SK Telecom, Intel to develop 5G-based self-driving car tech

South Korean operator SK Telecom has signed a partnership agreement with Intel to jointly develop 5G network-based technologies for self-driving vehicles, The Korea Times reports. Under the terms of the agreement, SK Telecom and Intel will co-develop vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies by combining their expertise in networks and deep learning.
