SK Telecom launches 5G autonomous robot to fight COVID-19

South Korean operator SK Telecom, in partnership with Omron Electronics Korea, has developed a 5G-powered autonomous robot to enable a systematic response against COVID-19. The robot leverages 5G, AI, autonomous driving and IoT to carry out activities such as contactless temperature screenings for visitors and disinfection of the building.
