SK Telecom to deploy 5G network for military training

South Korean mobile operator SK Telecom has announced it will establish a 5G network on a military campus to enable smart training for cadets. SK Telecom will establish a 5G network in the Korea Military Academy's campus in northern Seoul within the first half of this year to support technology-based military training, Yonhap news agency reports. VR shooting training and AR war games will be available for cadets, the company said.
