SK Telecom to develop 5G services for transportation infrastructure

South Korean operator SK Telecom has signed a partnership agreement with the Korea National Policy Agency (KNPA) and the Korea Road Traffic Authority (KoROAD). The partners will cooperate in sharing traffic signal information and T Map data and will jointly develop 5G services for transportation infrastructure. SK Telecom will develop its T Map service using KNPA's traffic signal information, specifically, by displaying the signal information on T Map routes and enhancing the accuracy of arrival time prediction.
