SK Telecom to extend smart city platform in Busan

South Korean mobile operator SK Telecom plans to expand its smart city platform business in cooperation with Busan Metropolitan Government, The Korea Times reports. SK Telecom has established a smart city test site in Busan. SK Telecom and the local government plan to train 1,500 experts in IoT technologies, foster 150 new startups, support 15 businesses operating in the global market and develop 15 urban smart city services to launch globally.
