SK Telecom, Verizon strike 5G cooperation deal

South Koran operator SK Telecom and US carrier Verizon have signed a MoU to drive standardization and conduct joint studies in the field of 5G. Under the terms of the agreement, SK Telecom and Verizon will work together to turn co-developed 5G technical specifications into global standards. The two companies also plan to carry out joint studies to identify innovative 5G use cases and applications.
