Sky adds 96,000 UK broadband customers in Q4

Pay-TV company Sky has reported group revenue for the 12 months to 30 June up 5 percent to GBP 11.28 billion, with operating profit up 18 percent to GBP 1.40 billion. Across the five operating territories (UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy), Sky added 973,000 new customers, 45 percent more than the previous year, including 150,000 new customers in Q4. It increased the group paid-for subscription products by 4.6 million for the 12 months, including 829,000 new paid-for products in Q4.
