Sky Austria lifts customers 7.5% to 327,000 in H1

Sky Austria continued to grow in the first half of 2014, said newspaper Die Presse on its website, expanding its number of customers by 7.5 percent to 327,000. Reveneue rose by EUR 13 million to EUR 144 million. Managing director Kai Mitterlechner said the operator had asserted its position among the country's top five media businesses. Asked about Netflix' arrival in Austria and Germany in the middle of September, he said Sky's business model is not replicable.
