Sky buys majority stake in Blast! Films

Sky has acquired a majority stake in production company Blast! Films. Founded in 1994, Blast! Films is responsible for hit series The Supervet, The Route Masters and 999: What's Your Emergency? It will continue to operate as a distinct company under the new ownership structure, producing programmes and films for various broadcasters. Sky Vision, Sky's international distribution unit, will become a Blast! Films' distribution partner.
