Sky buys rights to Showtime's 'The Affair'

UK satellite TV operator Sky has acquired the rights to Showtime drama The Affair, which will air exclusively on the Sky Atlantic channel in the UK and Ireland in May. The first and second seasons will be aired. The Affair stars Dominic West (The Wire), who was nominated for a 2015 Golden Globe Award for Best Performance By An Actor In A Television Series, Drama for his role in the series, and Ruth Wilson (Luther), who won the 2015 Golden Globe Award for Best Performance By An Actress In A Television Series, Drama for her role.
