Sky Deutschland adds 82,000 subscribers in Q2

Pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland added 82,000 direct subscribers in Q2 2014 to reach a total of 3.81 million. The number of Sky Premium HD customers increased by 13,000 to 2.24 million, with the Sky+ customer base up by 106,000 to 1.58 million. Revenues for the quarter wee up 14 percent year-on-year to EUR 428 million, with EBITDA up 23 percent to EUR 45 million. ARPU was up EUR 0.85 year-on-year to EUR 34.59. Revenue for full-year 2013/2014 to June was EUR 1.65 billion, up 16 percent, with EBITDA up 127 percent to EUR 29 million, and ARPU up EUR 1.28 to EUR 34.52. For the new 2014/2015
