Sky Deutschland partners with Telefonica to show handball match on 5G

Sky Deutschland said that it has partnered with Telefonica to show the handball game of the top league Bundesliga using 5G. On 02 December, Sky Sport will broadcast the game between SG Flensburg-Handewitt and Frisch auf! Goeppingen over 5G smartphones via the 5G network. O2 equipped the Flens Arena with 5G in seven days. In addition to the professional TV cameras, the 5G smartphones that run over the network provide real-time images of the events.
